OK, no shade to throw actually, Oslo was boss. 10/10 would recommend. I haven’t ever owned a pair of quality frames before, being one of those guys that opts for a cheap pair from Primark pre-holiday. They usually do the job but are they the best option for someone looking to accentuate their look with an on-trend pair of shades? Not really.
After being approached by Rigato, who kindly gifted me a pair of their Rotundiora sunglasses in the black and chrome colourway, I decided to leave the cheap giggs at home and take the solid steel framed ones instead.
With lots of sun forecast I was sure I would get good use from them in the couple of days we had in Oslo, and that was true. I took them with me everywhere we went and even managed to feature them in a couple of snaps as we traveled.
The black and chrome colourway is ideal for me, someone who goes for a more monochrome outfit on most occasions. They effortlessly blended into my outfits yet also stuck out to give that edge to my what might be plain choice of clothing.
I would have loved if they came with a case to protect them but cases are pretty cheap to pick up, I used one of my old glasses cases during the trip.
The build quality seems very solid, the steel gives them a bit of weight which is nice. They are very comfortable to wear! The guys over at Rigato also have a wide range of other designs to choose from, just in case emulating Willy Wonka isn’t your thing.
Overall, smiles all around. Quality glasses matched with cracking weather and a lively city to explore wearing them. I couldn’t ask for more! The weather was great so I had plenty of use for the mirrored bad-boys and I’m sure they will be a staple in my holiday packing list for many trips to come!

Thanks for reading, have you got any holidays planned? I’m all out!
The sunglasses in this article were gifted, however all opinions are my own
