It has been a couple of months since I last did a favourites post and I have acquired a few new items that I feel I should share with you lucky lot! Lets begin…
If you follow me on Instagram you will have already seen this Topman shirt I recently picked up for my trip to Malta. The 100% viscose material is unmatched when it comes to comfort and breath-ability in the scorching sun. I tend to stay in my comfort zone of plain block colours when it comes to my clothes so this was a huge step for me and I’m glad I made it! You’ll certainly be seeing more of this over the summer.
Guess x A$AP Rocky Collaboration
Here’s something I don’t own – but I wish I did. The Guess x A$AP Rocky collaboration range has been out for a while and I’ve certainly had my eye on it. Now summer is approaching, following a similar theme from the last item, the striped tees have really taken my fancy. I love the red and white stripes and feel it would be a match made in heaven with my red/black CDG converse.
Whilst it isn’t the newest model on the market, my recently acquired GoPro Hero 3+ has taken prime position in my hand luggage packing list when travelling. I’ve even tried my hand at a couple of GoPro style travel videos which you can find on my YouTube Channel! Drop me a sub if you’re feeling generous, thanks!
Whilst not an item, I have been getting more involved with Manchester, after-all I am moving there to study my Masters degree in September. Liverpool has served me well over the past 3 or so years but I can definitely feel that I am ready for a change and I think Manchester holds plenty of new places to explore and try out! Not to mention our new apartment will be a stones throw from the mighty Old Trafford stadium.
Thomas and George Watch
If we are talking versatility and quality then Thomas and George has you covered, I recently wrote about their Chesterfield watch in one of my recent posts and I am still pairing it with my outfits now. I have used the leather straps in work which is a customer-facing role and sees a lot of compliments. I also gave the blue and white Nato strap a test whilst in Malta, the fabric strap is certainly refreshing and perfect for a casual fit – because no-ones wearing a suit in 20+ degrees!
As a long-term fanboy of MyProtein, I recently made a swap over to Bulk Powders to mix it up a little due to a massive sale on their site (which isn’t uncommon). I opted for the Banana Fudge flavoured whey and it has transformed my morning smoothies from a decent tasting drink to a delicious nutrient powerhouse that I look forward to drinking in the mornings! Also the packaging has a more minimal design which is always a plus in my eyes. Not to mention the zip seal on the bag actually works, I recently threw away a MP product due to the bag opening whilst I was away on holiday which dried up the product – not cool!
That’s a wrap for my favourites this month, I’m sure there are more but I can’t think of any right now. Any new pieces I pick up will most likely be shown on my Instagram feed or stories so be sure to drop me a follow over there!
