Have a Spa Day Everyday with Natural Spa Factory

Spa products aren’t just a feminine thing, I’m telling you, if you believe this you’re missing out massively! Especially when it comes to this particular company…

Who are they?

Natural Spa Factory are leading the game in producing natural, spa quality products that are genuinely made with a lot of attention to detail. Their range spans from skincare to shampoo to shaving serums for men. They even have a gifts section which includes candles and diffusers for creating that perfect spa ambience. Located in Bath, England, NSF supply some of the world’s most luxurious spas and hotels – and you can get this level of quality delivered straight to your door!

As the name suggests they use natural ingredients within all of their products, they also carefully select botanically sourced elements from nature like herbs and flowers which are used to create fragrances that only nature itself could provide. Their products are also cruelty-free so there is no animal testing tagged to anything in their range, which is a huge thumbs up from me.

Did I get the all important ‘ahhh’-feeling?

I was fortunate enough to be sent their Lime and Lemongrass Body Salt Scrub, I have since used it before every shower which may be more than I should be using it! Personally, I have never been to a spa so I can’t tell you how closely it emulated a real one but I imagine it will invigorate your senses just as much.

I was excited to try it out, hence the top of the package.

I used the scrub in place of my usual shower gel and let me tell you, this is going straight into my skincare routine. The lemon fragrance really shone through, I felt like I was drowning in a pool of lemon drop sweets except I didn’t want to be rescued! The finely grained salt and sugar mixture worked a treat at removing any dirt or dead skin, leaving my skin feeling like I’d had an hour-long exfoliating session without any of the abrasion. The essential oils felt great too, they applied a silky feeling of moisturisation which felt revitalising and kept my skin feeling great even hours after towel-drying.

Benefits of the ingredients

If my glorious description of the scrub didn’t convince you enough that this product is fantastic then maybe a few benefits of the ingredients will tip you over the edge.

  • The lime juice that is included to the scrub has antibacterial properties which can prevent nasty acne-causing bacteria from growing on your skin.
  • Lemongrass essential oils can relieve pain in muscles and joints – which is perfect for a post-workout shower. It can also provide calming effects relieving feelings of tension and anxiety.
  • Sweet almond oil is naturally high in A, B and E vitamins which are crucial for soft, supple skin.
  • The closing of pores, reduction of inflammation and antioxidant presence are all characteristics of grape-seed oil found within the scrub.

I love how my skin felt after using the scrub and I equally appreciate the efforts to keep the products natural whilst still maintaining a high level of quality. I try to reduce the amount of chemicals in the products I use, so the Natural Spa Factory are going on my list of go-to natural product companies. Not to mention the minimal design, which is always a positive for me.

The personal note was a nice touch too, a big thanks to Annie over at NSF!

With (dare I say it) Christmas on the horizon, NSF could be exactly what I turn to for gift ideas – I hope no relatives are reading!

Check out their website over at www.naturalspafactory.com to view their other products and find your perfect gift – even if it’s just for yourself. They also have their own blog which is packed full of useful information for everything you need to stay spa fresh.

Be right back, I’m off for another go with the scrub…
